Valisa & Ben’s hill country wedding at The Barn at Swallow’s Eve here in Fredericksburg, Texas was such a bright lovely occasion! Valisa chose a colorful and feminine palette that reflected her sunny sweet personality. Valisa & Ben chose to lodge and do their first look just down the road at Hoffman Haus, with transportation by the adorable Fredericksburg Trolley’s. They made a stop at the pretty Fredericksburg Library for a couple of photos on the way! Feather & Twine photography captured the day beautifully and were such a pleasure to work with. I can’t say enough about how amazing the flowers were by Sprout Flowers, well you can see for yourself!
This teal chair at Hoffman Haus tied in perfectly with Ben’s tie and her ring box. I love when the venue happens to have pieces that incorporate perfectly with the palette! Thanks to Feather and Twine for including it in styling her shoes.
We actually chose to use their typical cocktail hour spot for the ceremony. I just fell in the love with stucco modern fireplace and how it provided a really minimal backdrop for the organic arrangements that Sprout designed. Valisa’s parents had a special connection with a French antiques collector and were able to source all of the charming cast iron pots for the flowers.
Ben’s suit was one of Valisa’s first choices for the wedding. The sky blue seersucker was perfect for the spring occasion. I love when couples choose a statement outfit for the groom. His suit really inspired the La Tavola Linen choices as well. The watercolor style painting on the cake by Sophie’s Bakery really tied the cake into the design of the event. I love how Sprout placed the real flowers to create a 3D continuation of the painting.
Feather and Twine used the perfect sunset glow to capture these beautiful hill country wedding portraits in the field, just behind the venue!
